This qualification is a pathway to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, and cafés.

Requirements

This qualification requires 6 units:

  1. Three core units
  2. Three elective units, consisting of:
    1. one unit from Group A
    2. two units from Group B below, elsewhere in the hospitality Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course.

The selection of electives must suit the job outcome, local industry requirements and the complexity of skills appropriate to Certificate I.
