Establish and implement plans for developing cooperative behaviour CHCIC510A

Do this assessment task in a childcare centre or similar children's program.

1. Identify any children or groups that need a behaviour management plan.

  • Check that you have firm observational information to support your actions.
  • Identify triggers, and any consequences that are maintaining the behaviour
  • Consult other parties (co-workers, parents, etc.)
  • Ask for help if you need it.

2. Establish limits and guidelines for behaviour

3. Write behaviour management plans for particular children.

4. Implement and monitor the plans.
