Physical development
Physical development refers to a child's actual growth, as well as their development in both the fine and gross motor areas. Children will undergo physical changes related to growth, maturation and development.
As a child grows, changes will occur to them physically. Changes range from the growth of teeth to internal organ development. These changes will be major events in the child's life.
There are two kinds of physical skill involved in a child's development: gross motor and fine motor.
